Our spare room is tiny and there was never anywhere to put a standing fan without it being in the way. This replaced the old ceiling light in about 25 minutes (had to pop out and grab longer screws for the bracket, our ceiling rose was an odd fit, but that's on our house not the product). Genuinely didn't expect the fan part to move as much air as it does. Kids' room is next.

Does exactly what it says — quiet on speed 1, proper airflow on speed 3. Only gripe is the remote is a bit fussy if you're not pointing it fairly directly at the unit, I have to aim it from across the room. Not a dealbreaker, still using it every night, just knocking off a star for that.

Bought this during that stretch of 30°C nights and it made a real difference. Put it in our son's room first since he was struggling the most, now ordering a second for ours. Light is bright enough to replace the old fitting properly too, not just a dim afterthought like some of these combo units.

Fan itself is solid, no complaints there. The warm white setting flickers very slightly every so often, cool white and neutral are both fine though so I just leave it on those. Might just be my unit. Still keeping it, just wanted to flag it in case others notice the same thing.

Landlord wouldn't allow anything requiring an electrician or rewiring, this was the only option that actually fit the "screws into the existing rose" requirement. Looks miles better than the builder's-basic light that was there before as well, so that's a nice bonus.

Work from home and was worried a ceiling fan would be distracting on calls. On speed 1 or 2 it's genuinely close to silent, only speed 3 has any noticeable hum and even that's not bad. Been running most of the day, every day, for a few weeks now with no issues.

Delivery was about 6 days rather than the estimate, which was a little annoying, but the product itself is exactly as described and installation was straightforward once it turned up. Would order again, just build in a bit of buffer time if you need it for a specific date.

Got one for my mum and dad's bedroom since they struggle with the heat and didn't want a noisy standing fan rattling around. Talked them through the remote over the phone and they had no trouble with it, buttons are clearly labelled which helped. They're chuffed with it, mission accomplished.

Studio flat so every bit of floor space matters, a standing fan was never really an option. This solved it without eating into the room at all. Fitting instructions were clear enough that I didn't need to look anything up, which I always appreciate.

You could probably piece together a cheaper fan and a cheaper light separately if you shopped around, but you'd be doing two installs instead of one and it likely wouldn't look as tidy. For the convenience of it being one unit with one remote, I think it's a fair price. Working well so far.
